PTF = Parent Teacher Fellowship

Mission Statement:  

We serve and bless the staff and teachers, both primary and secondary, of Washtenaw Christian Academy. The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Washtenaw Christian Academy has been formed for the purpose of service and fellowship. The PTF seeks to support the teachers in a manner that enhances the execution of their duties and responsibilities. Further, the PTF will strive to facilitate the demands placed on teachers by recruiting and/or coordinating parent volunteers, arranging teacher luncheons, and raising funds to support their endeavors.

We are an open group. Our Executive Board members keep things going. This is a great way to keep abreast as to what is going on at the school.   Our monthly meetings are open to all parents to attend.

Our Annual Calendar is filled with many opportunities to bless and serve the teachers and staff.  

We welcome any assistance any parent is willing to provide. Many of the ways we recognize the educators at WCA are through establishment of Parent Leaders to assist with activities at the elementary level, hosting receptions during the elementary concerts, hosting staff luncheons at the beginning of the school year, during conferences, during Teacher Appreciation week and at various holidays, organizing and running the Christmas Store for all WCA students,  Box Tops campaigns held twice a year, birthday blessings for the staff, and other events as needed.
