At Washtenaw Christian Academy, we believe that as Christian educators, we should be setting the standard for how our next generation is being trained for the future.  We are acutely aware of the importance a strong Christian foundation is in each child's life.  It is our goal to assist parents in developing that foundation by providing the finest Bible and Spiritual formation program available anywhere.  We are constantly analyzing, developing and implementing new curriculum and teaching methods to make certain that we are connecting with our students in an exciting and relevant way without ever compromising God's truth.   We do all this in concert with the strong academic and athletic programs that have been well established here at WCA. 

On a personal note, my wife Melynn and I have been married for 27 years and we have been blessed with five wonderful children (Deanna 25, Melissa 22, Tommy 19, Allison 17 and Kristen 12).  The Lord led my family to Washtenaw Christian Academy seven years ago in a way that only He could have orchestrated.  I am in total awe of the work He has accomplished with the help of countless servants on this campus.  My objective at WCA is to use my interpersonal skills and extensive life experiences in a Christian school environment to lead and motivate students, teachers, parents and staff to further the cause of Jesus Christ through the school.

Christian education is a personal passion of mine.  Over the past decade or so I have been called to be more intimately involved in the overall advancement of Christian schools.  I believe that they can be a place where characters are formed, challenges are conquered and destinies are determined. It is the ultimate honor for me to be in a position to allow the Lord to use me to help in accomplishing this. I take this responsibility very seriously.  I can't imagine being a part of a team where the stakes could be any higher.
