Facilities Manager
Washtenaw Christian Academy is seeking a Christ-centered, organized, and proactive Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, operations, and stewardship of the school's campus and facilities. The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, welcoming, and well-maintained in support of the school's mission.
This role provides leadership and oversight for the Facilities Team, manages contractors and vendors, coordinates facility rentals and event support, oversees maintenance and improvement projects, and works closely with school leadership to plan for the long-term care and development of campus facilities.
This is a hands-on leadership position that combines strategic oversight with active participation in the daily maintenance and custodial needs of the campus. The Facilities Manager is expected to lead by example, regularly performing maintenance and custodial tasks alongside the Facilities Team as needed.

Bus Drivers
Washtenaw Christian Academy is looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Bus Driver. This is a part-time, as-needed position. The people who fills this role will safely transport students to and from school for extracurricular activities, ensuring that each trip reflects WCA’s commitment to excellence, care, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will have a cheerful, dependable spirit, demonstrate attention to safety and detail, and maintain a calm and caring demeanor with students. Applicants must possess a valid Michigan CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, meet all required background and driving record checks, and comply with state and federal transportation regulations.
Facilities Team Member (Afternoon Shift)
Washtenaw Christian Academy is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and Christ-centered Facilities Team Member to support the maintenance, cleanliness, and daily operations of the school during afternoon and evening hours. This role plays an important part in ensuring that students, staff, and visitors experience a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
The Facilities Team Member assists with custodial duties, event setup and teardown, basic maintenance tasks, and campus upkeep. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to serve wherever needed to support the mission of the school.
Position Title: Facilities Team Member (Afternoon Shift)
Location: Washtenaw Christian Academy
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time Afternoon Shift (hours determined by school needs)
Reports to: Facilities Director
Key Responsibilities
Custodial & Cleaning Duties
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the campus
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors as needed
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies
- Ensure school facilities are clean, orderly, and ready for the next school day
Facility Maintenance
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs as assigned
- Report facility concerns, repair needs, and safety issues to the Facilities Director
- Assist with preventative maintenance projects and seasonal campus needs
- Help maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas
Event Setup & Campus Support
- Assist with setup and teardown for athletic events, school programs, meetings, and special events
- Arrange tables, chairs, equipment, and room configurations as needed
- Support facility preparations for rentals and community events
- Help ensure campus spaces remain organized and presentable
Grounds & Safety
- Assist with maintaining outdoor walkways, entrances, and grounds as needed
- Help monitor facilities for safety concerns and address issues promptly
- Follow all school safety procedures and facility guidelines
Collaboration & Service
- Work cooperatively with the Facilities Director and other staff members
- Respond professionally and courteously to requests from faculty and staff
- Demonstrate a servant-hearted attitude and willingness to assist with various campus needs
Required Qualifications

Head Coaches report to the Athletic Director.
This is a seasonal position. The ideal candidate will have a desire to lead our student-athletes to grow in their faith in Christ, to mature in their godly character, to increase their love for the game, and to develop their skills in competition. This candidate should have a strong faith in and love for God, and a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of the game. This candidate must be able to develop and execute practice and game plans, and must possess excellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with student-athletes, parents, officials, and others in the sporting arena. Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
