Hall of Faith

At Washtenaw Christian Academy, our Hall of Faith honors individuals whose lives have reflected a deep and enduring faith in God. Inspired by the “great cloud of witnesses” described in Hebrews 11, these men and women remind us what it looks like to trust God, follow His leading, and remain faithful through challenges and change.

Their stories demonstrate that faith is more than belief. It is an active, lifelong relationship with God that shapes the way we live, serve, lead, and impact others. Through their example, we are encouraged to persevere in our own faith journeys, trust God’s promises, and remain faithful to His calling.

The individuals honored in WCA’s Hall of Faith have each left a lasting mark on our school community. Through their service, leadership, sacrifice, and commitment to Christ, they have helped shape WCA into the school it is today. We are grateful for their legacy and the example they have given to generations of Wildcats.

Hall of Faith inductees are individuals who:

  • Have had a significant impact/influence on SCS/WCA over the course of many years
  • Made a financial, academic or community impact (or combination of) that has added great value to the school throughout the years
  • Exemplify Godly character and humility in their service

Nominations taken all year around. Two or three new recipients are chosen each year in October, and inductees remain in the Hall of Faith for future years. Currently the committee consists of Head of School Alicia Ceccarelli, Director of Development Annherst Kreitz and former WCA Board President and WCA alumni Ross Gordon.

Recipients will be announced at the Annual Gala in March and honored at a luncheon in May.
