Parent Involvement
Partnering Together. Investing in Community.
At Washtenaw Christian Academy, we believe parent involvement is essential for our school community to thrive. Education at WCA is not just something we do for students—it’s something we do with families.
To support this partnership, every family is asked to contribute a set number of volunteer hours each school year. These hours help create a warm, well-supported environment for students, staff, and fellow parents.
Last year, WCA families served in 29 different areas and events. Whether serving snacks at the concession stand, helping in a classroom, or running a game during Field Day, our parents’ investment brings our campus and community to life in an irreplaceable way.
Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
WCA’s Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) helps foster connection and support within our school community.
This dedicated group of parent volunteers focuses on community-building opportunities and blessing our teachers in meaningful ways throughout the year.
Whether serving on the PTF or participating in a single initiative, every act of involvement strengthens the bonds between families, students, and staff.
