Reality Check: 9th & 12th Grades

A hands-on simulation designed to give students a glimpse into the financial decisions and responsibilities of adult life.

If you’re new to Reality Check, here’s how it works: Each student is assigned a career, marital/family status, and salary. After an orientation, students visit booths representing real-life expenses such as housing, insurance, childcare, transportation, and more. They’ll make financial decisions along the way and work to build a successful monthly budget.
