What denomination is WCA?
We are an inter-denominational Christian school not affiliated with any particular church or denomination.  Our students and staff represent 65 different churches.  We encourage you to check our Statement of Faith and Godly Principles for more details of our core beliefs.
 
When was this school started?
Washtenaw Christian Academy was originally formed as Saline Christian School by The First Assembly of God in Saline.  The school was founded in 1975.  In 1999, the school became an independent organization and adopted the name Washtenaw Christian Academy.
 
What is your teacher/student ratio? 
Our overall ratio is approximately 1 teacher to 15 students.  Current class sizes vary from 8 - 24 students.
 
Are you members of a school organization?
Yes, we are members of A.C.S.I. (The Association for Christian Schools International). You are encouraged to check out their website at www.acsi.org.
 
What time does school start and end?
School begins at 8:05 am.  Secondary students (grades 7-12) are dismissed at 3:25 pm and Elementary students (grades K-6) are dismissed at 3:15 pm.
 
What are your hours of daycare?
Before school child care is from 7:30 - 8:05  for preschool through 6th grade students. ($3.00 charge)  Secondary students may report to the student lounge if they arrive earlier than 8:05.  After school daycare is available from 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. ($10.00 charge)
 
What is the FACTS program?
FACTS is an automatic tuition payment agreement where your tuition payment can be taken out of a bank account. You may set this up by filling out an agreement with Nancy Kotman, our school Business Manager.
