For over 40 years Washtenaw Christian Academy has had one mission: to produce servant leaders who will impact the world through a Christ centered education. Despite the pressure they receive from culture to be self-focused, our students continue to grow and mature into adults who are able to contribute to society with a heart of love and compassion, while still being driven to succeed.
We are pleased to announce Vision 20|20, the beginning of a new chapter in the rich history of this organization; one in which we will build financial reserves that will bridge the gap between the amount of tuition we collect and the cost of educating our incredible students. At WCA, we are committed to prudent financial management and resource development. With your help we can secure the future of WCA for generations to come.
Our objectives are to build operating cash reserves while reducing and eventually eliminating our debt altogether. An effort is currently underway to share our story with our community and beyond so that we can accomplish these exciting goals in the near term. We have a winning team of board members and parents who are fully engaged in this process, and we want to expand the awareness of this effort to others.
There are several ways that you can participate in Vision 20|20.
1-Make a contribution that will be used to reduce our debt and start a reserve fund. Our goal is to raise $300,000 in 2018 to this end.
UPDATE: We are thrilled to anounce that we met our initial fundraising goal of $150,000 by March 31, 2018.
2-Make a pledge to give an amount on a monthly basis to our general fund.
3-And most importantly, pray for our success. Please pray for our faculty, staff, board, and administration as we continue to write this amazing narrative for God’s glory alone.
